For those of you who are not aware of how a multiple listing service works, all of the members share their listings with each other and the fees paid by the seller are split between the member agents at no additional cost to either the buyer or the property owner. This allows a buyer to employ the services of the Realtor they feel can best help them reach their goals and who they want to represent them. That agent will have all the inventory available through the MLS's computer database, see the new listings as soon as they come on the market and will be looking for the right property for their client's needs. There is no way that a buyer can find out everything that is for sale by driving around looking for signs, or spending countless hours surfing the web and combing newspaper ads. With the services of a competent and experienced Realtor, it just isn't necessary to use your valuable time to do so.
